Studio
Al's own studio is
based at The Metway in Brighton where he has produced many tracks for
a wide variety of artists. The Metway is home to several project studios
as well as the main studio which Al built for the Levellers and used
to produce their only No 1 album 'Zeitgeist'.
"I've had this room for ten years now and feel very at home with
it. People enjoy working here because it's tucked away and when you
close the door there are no distractions. You can get some real work
done. I don't rent it out to other people, just keep it as a project
studio and many a good musical moment has taken place here. All the
equipment is wired together in a way that makes working easy and that's
how it should be. An organised working space to get creative in".
